The Best Oatmeal Ever


The best oatmeal ever.

For too long me and my people have suffered through boxes of bland unfulfilling oats. No more. We deserve better. 

These oats are amazing. So amazing that I (not kidding) have them for breakfast pretty much every single day. Sometimes lunch. Sometimes dinner.


What I used:

  • Gluten Free Oatmeal

  • Cinnamon

  • Nutmeg

  • Frozen Blueberries

  • 1/2 an Apple

  • Plant Milk

  • 100% Pure Maple Syrup

What I did:

  1. Measure out 1/4 cup of GF oats and 3/4 cup water
    OR 1/3 cup of oats and 1 cup water

  2. Pour your oats and water into a pot and bring to... not a boil... bring to a light simmer

  3. While your oats are on the stove you should be cutting your apple into cubes

  4. Once oats are simmering turn down heat and throw in cinnamon, diced apples and frozen blueberries

  5. Once blueberries are melted take the pot off the stove

  6. Pour maple syrup onto oats

  7. Lick the excess maple syrup off the neck of the bottle. do not waste it.

  8. Pour plant milk onto oats


What you can do differently:

  • Don't use nutmeg, honestly I find cinnamon is the stronger spice (is cinnamon a spice??) in these oats

  • Cook oats with the plant milk instead of water

  • Use different frozen fruit (but the frozen blueberries are nice and sweet so 10/10 would recommend)

Note: Don't substitute maple syrup for other sweeteners, it's just not the same.
