Spring Rolls

10/10 best way to get some veggies in for the day. Also if you're feeling a little wrap-deprived these will help you scratch that itch a little bit.

What I used:

  • Carrots

  • Cucumber

  • Red Pepper

  • Rice Paper

  • Rice

*Served with: sweet thai chilli sauce


What I did:

  1. Wash and cut vegetables (into strips)

  2. Fill a (big) bowl with warm water

  3. Take rice paper and submerge it in the bowl until the texture changes from hard to soft

  4. Take the rice paper out of the water and place it on a cutting board

  5. Load up some veggies and rice onto the 'corner' of the rice paper (see video for clarification)

  6. Fold the rice paper over the rice & veggies (make sure the sides are properly closed)

  7. See video for clarification since it's really difficult to explain how to properly wrap these haha

What you can do differently:

  • Use rice noodles instead of rice

  • Use peanut sauce as a dipping sauce (I feel like that'd taste a m a z i n g)
